To obtain a marriage license, schedule an appointment and complete the application below. Step 1: Schedule an appointment. Step 2: Submit an online application. Fill it out and submit it online (you don't need to bring a copy with you). Step 3: Arrive at your scheduled appointment. Please come with the following: Both parties. A state driver's license or other valid identification for both parties. $50 payment - We accept AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, cash, or check. A certified copy of the divorce decree if one or both parties were divorced in the last 30 days.

Marriage licenses are being issued by appointment only. Complete this online application (make sure to fill out all fields) and click the Finish button when done. Come into the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office to show your proof of identity and pay for the license. Both parties must then appear in person in the Clerk's Office to complete the marriage license application with valid driver's license or identification and pay the license fee of $50.00. The license fee is non-refundable and includes two certified copies. After the marriage ceremony is done, return the license to our office so it can be recorded.
