Corrections

Clerk offices change fees, hours and procedures without notice. If something here is wrong, we want to know.

Reporting a problem

Email bineyamtsegaye1@gmail.com. The most useful report includes:

  • the jurisdiction page you were looking at;
  • which field looks wrong;
  • a link to the official page that says otherwise — this is what lets us verify and fix it quickly.

We can only publish what the issuing authority publishes. If an office told you something by phone or at the counter that does not appear anywhere on its website, we may not be able to publish it as a rule — but tell us anyway, because it usually means the page needs a “not published” marker or a recorded conflict.

How a correction is handled

  1. We re-check the issuing authority’s own pages.
  2. If the published rule has changed, we update the record, the quoted wording and the reviewed date.
  3. If the office contradicts itself — which happens, particularly with stale pandemic-era notices and superseded fee schedules — we publish the current value and record the conflict openly on the jurisdiction page.
  4. If a decision-critical field turns out to be unverifiable, the page loses its reviewed status and drops out of search indexing rather than staying up as though it were complete.

What we cannot help with

We are not a clerk, court or government agency, and we cannot check your application, book your appointment, expedite anything, or advise on your circumstances. For all of that, contact the issuing authority linked at the top of the jurisdiction page.
