    The Salt Lake County Clerk's Office performs marriage ceremonies during business hours for couples with a valid marriage license issued by any county in Utah. A ceremony fee of $50 is required in addition to the $50 marriage license fee (if obtaining a license from Salt Lake County). Both parties. A state driver's license or other valid identification for both parties. Two people age 18 or older to act as witnesses.

Come into the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office to show your proof of identity and pay for the license. Both parties must then appear in person in the Clerk's Office to complete the marriage license application with valid driver's license or identification and pay the license fee of $50.00. The license fee is non-refundable and includes two certified copies. After the marriage ceremony is done, return the license to our office so it can be recorded.
