    To be married, you must obtain a marriage license from the County Recorder before the wedding ceremony. To obtain a marriage license, both applicants must appear together before the deputy clerk. The license fee of $30.00 can be paid by credit/debit card, cash or a check made payable to the Ada County Recorder. Is there a waiting period before using the license? No, you may get married the same day. There is no expiration date on your marriage license. An Idaho Marriage License must be used within the boundaries of Idaho.
