Pre-registration for a marriage license is mandatory. All couples must complete the online pre-registration process through our website before coming in to obtain a marriage license. Once the marriage license is issued, it is only valid for 60 days from the date of issuance. The fee for a Marriage License is $60.00. Both parties are required to be present at the time of making the application for the marriage license. Each applicant must provide a social security number and valid government photo identification.

The marriage license is valid for sixty (60) days from the date of issuance. Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation number. Your registration information and confirmation number is valid for 90 days. All applicants are required by law to appear together for the Probate Court to obtain their marriage license and stay present for the duration of issuance of the license. Marriage licenses are being issued in person at the Courthouse. For applicants that are medically compromised limited online Zoom appointments are available.
