Three offices issue licenses: the Sevier County Courthouse in Sevierville (125 Court Ave, Suite 202E; Monday through Friday, 8 a.m., arrive by 4 p.m.), the Gatlinburg office (405 Reagan Drive; Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m., arrive by 3:45 p.m.) and the Pigeon Forge office (186 Old Mill Avenue; Saturday only, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). The Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offices provide marriage license and tag renewal services only.

Two published exceptions, each requiring original notarized documents: an applicant with a physical disability preventing appearance may submit a notarized affidavit plus a notarized consent letter from the attending physician on facility letterhead, and a person incarcerated in Sevier County (Sevier County only) may submit a notarized affidavit plus a notarized consent letter from the warden or chaplain on facility letterhead.
